Inspired by the muckraking journalists who sparked turn-of-the-century change – Jenny Goldberg aspired to be a newspaper reporter. Pursuing a degree in journalism at Rutgers University, she reported for the local media outlet, New Brunswick Today. There, she won first place at the 2017 New Jersey Professional Society of Journalists conference in the category of Public Service for coverage on immigration-related protests that blossomed in the city.
Following graduation, she went on to report at Worrall Community Newspapers where she covered everything from local government meetings to Superior Court criminal trials. Despite her passion to keep the public informed, she wanted to actively involve herself in change. That’s when she came to join the wonderful Brad Show Live team as a Social Media Community Manager – where she facilitates a dialogue on immigration related issues and news.
